Block E

600 Hennepin Ave
Minneapolis, MN 55403

Located in Minneapolis, Block E serves as the strategic connector between the warehouse, financial and entertainment districts of the city. The completion of Block E was one of the final steps in the reconstruction of downtown Minneapolis. No other project had the opportunity to take advantage of the abundance of business, residential and entertainment uses already in operation around this dynamic site.

The project utilized the existing powerful spaces that surround it: Connected via skyway to the Target Center, home of the Minnesota Timberwolves; a second skyway connection leads into City Center, one of the premiere mixed-use projects of the financial district; and Block E is at the front door of the Minnesota Twins baseball stadium.

Block E capitalizes on its proximity to theatres, sports venues, nightclubs, and financial and emerging residential districts. The block includes the four-star, 260-room graves/601 hotel, developed by Graves Hospitality Corporation. Entertainment is exceptionally well served by the 15-screen Kerasotes Theatres, GameWorks, The Shout House (Minneapolis' first smoke-free nightclub), Kieran's Irish Pub, Jimmy John's, Applebee's, Starbucks, and Hard Rock Café. This world-renowned entertainment and dining experience attracts guests from the financial district and from around the five-state area.
