Lot 24 is a 96-unit apartment residence in Pittsburgh. Completed in December 2012, the development helps meet the increased housing demand of this growing city and the highly successful Cork Factory across the street. The four-story building derives its name from the former surface parking lot at 24th and Railroad Streets where it is located.
The building facade of corrugated metal and red brick was designed by Antunovich Associates to meld with the hip, industrial aesthetic of the Strip District. The community features the latest residential amenities: a club room with bar, fireplace and billiards table; a landscaped terrace with pool, jacuzzi and gas grills; a fitness center; structured parking; bike storage; and a business center. The apartments range in size from studios to 2-bedroom units and are outfitted with engineered wood flooring, granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, in-unit washers and dryers and balconies.
The project was constructed by Massaro Corporation to LEED standards.
